J.P. Morgan has announced that Centennial Park in Sydney will provide the venue for the city’s 10th staging of the J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge, one of the world’s largest road racing series.
The Corporate Challenge is a team competition that last year brought together nearly 7,500 runners from 309 companies. Sydney is one of 12 cities in six countries that host J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge events.
According to Rob Priestley, CEO of J.P. Morgan in Australia, the annual 5.6 kilometre road race provides an exciting opportunity for everyone to come together outside of the office for a night of teamwork and networking.
“We are focused on creating a positive event experience and an atmosphere which the many thousands of competitors will thoroughly enjoy on race night,” he said.
The Corporate Challenge is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, 11 November at Centennial Parklands, Sydney from 6:30pm.
The event will be managed by Pont3, the organiser of the Blackmores Sydney Running Festival. Commenting on the appointment, Wayne Larden, CEO of Pont3 said: “We are extremely excited to be presenting this prestigious corporate event to the Sydney business sector. The J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge is a great opportunity to get out there with your colleagues and participate in a healthy activity, while building relationships with your peers and clients.”
