Four Sydney businessmen have just completed the trek of a lifetime to raise money for charity.
Bowdens Group team members Adrian Seidler, Matthew Glen, Minh Tran and Steven Gott have just returned from finishing the Oxfam Trailwalker challenge, which raises much needed funds for disadvantaged communities in Australia and overseas.
The team raised almost $2,500 for Oxfam by completing the challenge in 29.5 hours, which was meant to be completed in 48 hours.
Team leader for Bowdens, Steven Gott, said the trip was a little more arduous than the team had expected, but proved to be a great team building exercise.
“Honestly, the trip was a little harder than we expected,” Mr Gott said.
“The efforts from our support team, even organisers and St Johns Ambulance were very humbling. We’re all really glad we did it and already planning next year’s challenge,” he added.
