The 2010 International Business Awards (IBAs), also known as ‘The Stevies’, are now open to entries from business executives, entrepreneurs, and the organisations they run.
Yvette Adams, a Queensland-based businesswoman who became involved with the awards after being a finalist in the 2008 International Women in Business Awards in New York, says Australian businesses of all shapes and sizes should give it a go.
“There are numerous categories that recognise businesses from different regions and industries, and for specific business achievements and activities. I encourage Australian businesses to review the extensive category list available on the awards website and identify one or more categories that their business could have a crack at. After all, their chances are just as good as the next person’s,” she said.

Entries are now open for the 2010 – worldwide and are the world’s most prestigious business awards.
With a dedicated regional coordinator to promote the awards in Australia and New Zealand in place since last year, it is hoped awareness of the awards will continue to grow down under.
For the first time, prospective 2010 entrants can participate in a free live webinar where they can gain an overview of the IBAs—everything you need to know to have the best chance of impressing the judges.
Interested businesses are encouraged to nominate themselves or others they think are worthy at www.thestevies.com by 12 May. Late entries will be accepted until 9 June with payment of a late fee.
