Google App Store launched in Australia

Google App Store

Devnet has launched the first Google Apps Store in Australia allowing users the opportunity to access third party applications for the Google Apps platform.

The Devnet Google App Store currently allows customers to subscribe to Google Apps plus a range of value-added services like Postini mail security
and archiving, domain names and Google Maps offerings. OffiSync will be added shortly before further applications are progressively added in the
coming months. Deveson said that Devnet was in negotiations with a range of third-party application developers and that new cloud solutions which
integrate tightly with Google Apps were appearing with increasing frequency.

“Google not only provide an unparalleled suite of its own applications but it is now fostering an amazing ecosystem of complementary applications that
extend the core-functionality of the suite,” said Devnet CEO Craig Deveson.

“Google has the best API’s on the Internet and we’re only seeing the start of what third-party developers can do with integrating their solutions to
Google Apps,” said Deveson.

“We have the most experienced team of Google-skilled engineers in Australia outside of Google itself, and we can also develop custom solutions for any
company that cannot find a third-party solution or integration solution to fit their requirements. When you’re moving to a new environment like cloud
computing, it’s important to know you have access to the support and guidance of an expert Company like ourselves.”
