FFCo continues Cold Rock restructure

Franchised Food Company (FFCo) is continuing its restructure of Cold Rock Ice Creamery, moving its Queensland support office from the Gold Coast to Brisbane and appointing three new support managers to grow the brand across several states.

FFCo’s business manager Michelle Sprenger said the office had moved from Arundel to Lang Parade in Milton in Brisbane’s inner west.

“The new office gives us room to grow given our plans to expand by 15 stores in the next 12 months,” Ms Sprenger said. Cold Rock Ice Cream

“The office is more central and gives Cold Rock a better presence in Queensland, and also makes our business support team more accessible to franchisees.

“We are putting more emphasis on business support to help our franchisees achieve their goals. The old Cold Rock didn’t have the business support structure that it has now.”

FFCo has appointed three new business support managers who will assist with marketing, training and induction and ensuring the consistency and strength of the Cold Rock brand.

Business support manager for Victoria and South Australia Maree Rogers has extensive experience within the hospitality, retail and franchising sectors and was most recently manager at United Home Services, a national franchise group with over 100 franchises.

She has also worked as a life and business coach recruiting for numerous franchise systems including Boost Juice, Burger Edge and Pizza Hut.

“One of the reasons I wanted to work with Cold Rock is because they are passionate about what they do,” Ms Rogers said. “I believe an organisation which has strong values and where everybody is passionately involved is very important to its success.”

New Queensland business support manager Peter Cocks has over 15 years of retail experience with companies including Sportsco, Kingsdown Australia and Amart All Sports.

“Cold Rock is an exciting concept and a great product. I’m looking forward to working closely with franchisees to help them achieve their store goals, therefore helping Cold Rock and FFCo achieve their company goals,” he said.
