The Samsung Galaxy S6 is said to be on its way and, if rumours are to be believed, it may see Samsung bringing on some pretty big changes.

Webtrek is reporting that the Galaxy S6 could include 4G of RAM, which would match the RAM capacity of Xiaomi’s Mi Note Pro and ASUS’ ZenFone 2. The Mi Note Pro and ZenFone 2 where announced earlier this month.

Apart from an increase in RAM, the device could come with a new capacity for wireless charging. Whispers of “magnetic resonance” wireless charging have been circling for a while now, but the Galaxy S6 may be able to emit electromagnetic energy to other devices with resonant frequencies. It’s possible the device will have glass front and rear sides, with a non-removable battery.

More RAM, wireless charging, how about some more flexibility while we’re at it? A SamMobile report has confirmed the upcoming device will have a curved display: “two-edge displays, one on each side.”

“…it will have all the panels from the Note Edge including Yahoo! Finance, news and sport panels, briefing panel, pedometer panel (powered by S Health), favourite apps and contacts panels, and more will be downloadable from Samsung’s app store,” the report reveals. “Furthermore, it will also sport features like Night Clock and Express Me.”

The Samsung Galaxy S6 is said to also include a 20-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera powered by a 64-bit processor.

While these features are certainly sounding impressive, they are but rumours for the moment. All will be revealed when the phone is officially unveiled, which could be at this year’s Mobile World Congress in March.
