The Western Australian business community has begun its annual search for the top 40 in business leaders under 40.
The 40under40 Awards commend individual business achievement, and set the standard for business talent and success across Western Australia.
Acknowledging fields from health, publishing, arts, fashion, architecture, recruitment and mining, the awards are open to nominations of any private business based in WA.
2011 winner, Zhenya Tsvetnenko was acknowledged for his efforts as founder of Mpire Media. Crowned First Amongst Equals before 900 peers, Tsvetnenko was recognised for his benchmark achievements in only 4 years.
Tsvetnenko said the WA Business News 40under40 Awards are the best encouragement for fellow entrepreneurs to reach for the stars.
“I would encourage anyone who is making headway in our business community to nominate for the awards. Even if you don’t win, the 40under40 experience provides great networking opportunities,” said Tsvetnenko.
As well as a number of prizes, winners receive invaluable business profiling throughout Western Australia’s business community.
The 2011 winner said the award has been a great opportunity to share his business story and inspire other young Western Australian business people to chase after their goals.
“I hope to inspire other Western Australians to work hard and take advantage of the great opportunities available to us here and use their good fortune to build a positive, lasting legacy,” he said.
Nominations for the 2012 40under40 Awards close on Wednesday, 23 November 2011. The gala awards event will take place on 22 February 2012.
