Well-known entrepreneur Mark Bouris will kick off his inaugural “Secrets to Business Success” seminar at the end of this month, to offer SMBs advice on cashflow management, budgeting, marketing and business valuation.
Held in association with his wealth management business Yellow Brick Road, Bouris and a panel of business experts will address a range of small business issues, in order to help SMBs thrive in today’s difficult economic environment.
“I hear from small and medium business owners everyday who are looking for ways to best manage and expand their businesses, and we decided it was time to offer them some support,” Bouris said.
“That’s why we’ve pulled together the top experts in their fields to teach people how to get the right advice and make the best possible decisions for their business’s future,” he added.
The seminar has been designed for business owners looking to grow their enterprise as well as for people thinking about starting a business and for companies that deal directly with the SMB sector. Discussions will assist entrepreneurs wanting to start a new business or assess the viability of the “big idea”, managers looking to broaden their understanding of today’s economic environment, and suppliers of SMBs looking for ways to better service their clients.
The seminar speakers will include:
- Mark Bouris, Yellow Brick Road chairman and host of Celebrity Apprentice Australia.
- Christopher Joye, leading Australian economist
- David Carr, chartered accountant, lawyer and small business adviser
- Brad Seymour, branding and marketing specialist
- Grant Pearson, small business risk and compliance expert
Upon launching its “Fight Back” campaign, Yellow Brick Road was told by SMBs around the country about the main barriers to their success. Many owners cited access to funding, cashflow management, inadequate educational resources and support, and finding new clients as the biggest issues they face.
“SMBs are the engine room of this country, yet they are continually being squeezed out of the market,” says Bouris.
“We’ve built this seminar for the people who are working six days a week and worrying seven nights a week, people who want to be successful and are looking for practical tips and the right advice to make their dreams a reality,” he added.
The “Secrets to Business Success” Seminar will take place on Wednesday 30 May, from 8am at the Sebel Parramatta. Click here for more information, or to buy tickets.
