Businessmen set out on trek to raise money for charity

Four businessmen from a leading Sydney surveying, planning and engineering firm are set to trek 100 kilometres of tough Australian bush in order to raise money for charity Oxfam.

Proving that corporate phinthropy is alive and well, the businessmen from Bowdens Group will compete in the Oxfam Trailwalker challenge in August to raise money for disadvantaged communities in Australia and overseas.

According to team Leader for Bowdens, Steven Gott, it will be a great team building exercise.

“Our company projects are always managed as a team, so we’ve begun planning and training for the trail in the same way, as a group, and that will get us over the line.”

Bowdens Group is seeking support from clients and business partners to boost the team’s fundraising and the foursome’s training is already “on track” to complete the trail well within the time limit, together.
