Speaking at the Council of Small Business National Conference of Australia (COSBOA) in Melbourne yesterday, Rohan Ganeson, Optus Small Business managing director said that Australian small businesses have been quick to embrace new technology and as a result will have an edge over their larger competitors in business.
Technology has increasingly become more mobile and is no longer a luxury for business, but a necessity, said Ganeson.
“Telecommunication services are…an essential lifeline and critical business enabler. Successful small businesses must embrace new technology to see productivity benefits reflected in their bottom line.”
Small businesses have been quick to adopt new technology, namely voice mobility which has led to an increase in productivity and flexibility among staff.
“Businesses that use information on-the-go are accessible and responsive leading to an improved customer experience,” Ganeson said.
Ganeson made further mention to Optus’ continued support to small business, delivery the latest products and services to benefit small business.
