Small and medium businesses are encouraged to recognise their achievements by nominating for the 2019 Telstra Business Awards.
In its 27thyear, the esteemed program is designed to celebrate and acknowledge Australia’s top performing businesses and propel them into the business spotlight.
Telstra Business Awards Ambassador Michael Ackland said business owners should back themselves and take a chance by nominating for this year’s Awards.
“A successful business owner is a special breed with unique characteristics. They’re hungry. They’re creative. They’re bold. But at times, they’re also unsure,” he said.
“Having no one to answer to can be liberating, but it can also foster as much self-doubt as it can confidence. Applying for the Telstra Business Awards is a great way to put your business to the test and prove to yourself that you’re better than you think you are.”
Small and medium businesses, as well as not-for-profit organisations and social enterprises are encouraged to nominate for this year’s Telstra Business Awards. Every entrant will receive a personalised in-depth business report with professional insights, guidance and advice to help them improve their business in the future.
Online retailer and 2018 Telstra Australian People’s Choice Award winner, Tony Nash encouraged other business owners to take the time to stop and put their business to the test.
The CEO and founder of Booktopia said the Telstra Business Awards was one of the best experiences you could participate in.
“I have entered seven times and every single time, I learn something. More importantly, it gets you to articulate what you do, how you do it and why you are unique and stand out,” he said.
Nominations close at 5pm AEDT on March 7. For more information visit: www.telstrabusinessawards.com/nominate
