Gold Coast office wins Franchise of the Year Award

Just Better Care (JBC), a premier home and nursing agency, has announced that the Just Better Care Office on the Gold Coast has taken out the JBC award for Franchise of the Year.

FranchiseAt a company conference held on the Gold Coast, the owners of the 18 JBC franchises across Australia came together to discuss how best to address the changing needs of the aged care sector and to find strength in belonging to a franchise.

Just Better Care founder, Trish Noakes, says “As service providers, Just Better Care wants to stand out in the market place and provide excellence, and the annual conference and the awards exactly embody this desire.

“The Just Better Care awards are the recognition of excellence – this year, it really was a very close and tough competition and we wanted to ensure that every consideration on performance within the criteria was carefully scrutinised”, continues Noakes.  “The Gold Coast office absolutely shone in all areas and Bram, the office owner, should be incredibly proud of his team.

The Gold Coast JBC office has been in operation since the beginning of 2007, and owner, Bram Baker, says of receiving the recognition, “This award was won through the dedication of both our office staff and field workers, who provide the quality of care that is second to none on the Coast.

“I am constantly encouraged by the incredible commitment shown by our staff to the people they care for, which often results in words of praise being received from them. Sometimes we only spend an hour or so with a client but even during that time, we want to make sure that we provide care that is above expectations”, comments Baker.

To be considered for the JBC award, nominees must have been in operation for a minimum of 12 months, and be compliant with the Just Better Care franchise agreement and operations manuals.
