Sydney residents invited to climate change address

With the Federal Government’s controversial Emissions Trading Scheme (ETS) expected to be put to a vote in the Senate later this week, Sydney residents are being invited to hear the latest climate change updates as they are being presented.

Sydney residents are invited to attend an address by Dr Jay Lehr, Science Director of the US Heartland Institute, and Professor Bob Carter, Science Adviser to the Australian Climate Science Coalition (ACSC) and one of Australia’s most experienced environmental scientists; which will cover the legislation in detail, and how it will affect every day Australians.

Guests will also be able to hear the latest climate updates as delivered to the Senators in Canberra earlier that day.

The ACSC climate update will take place this Wednesday 12 August from 6pm-8pm at Rydges World Square, 389 Pitt Street, Sydney.
