August marked Victoria’s small business Energise Enterprise festival, September has been all about New South Wales’ Small Business September and now October will focus on South Australia’s Small Business Month.
The South Australian Government has issued a rallying call to the small business sector to participate in this year’s Small Business Month.
Minister for Small Business Paul Holloway says this year’s event is more important than ever before as small business face a range of new challenges created by the Global Financial Crisis.
“October will be full of events, seminars and workshops specially designed to offer small business managers guidance through the current problems,” he said.
The events will cover a wide variety of topics such as cash flow, marketing, competing, controlling costs, manufacturing efficiency, winning tenders, exporting and many others.
A number of industry groups and professional assossiations will be present at the events including nine metropolitan Business Enterprise Centres, 13 Regional Development Boards, Business SA, Family Business Australia and the Australian Institute of Management.
