Running from September 1-6, a collaboration between the Queensland Government and independent stakeholders will play host to a dedicated week in support of small business.
More than 200 free and low-cost events will be held at various locations throughout the state, with the aim of celebrating and inspiring Queensland’s 400,000 small businesses. The events are designed for both established and emerging enterprises.
Kicking off today, the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) will host a panel of experts including Australian Centre for Entrepreneurship Research (ACE) Director Professor Per Davidsson.
The week will officially be opened on September 2 with a lunch and panel discussion featuring national and local identities and international business expert Professor Josh Lerner from Harvard Business School and the World Economic Forum.
Hosted by the Queensland Government, the City Hall event, which QUT Business School is sponsoring, will examine how Queensland business is performing on the world stage.
