QSR International takes out DELL small business award
Melbourne software development company QSR International has taken out the title of Dell’s annual Small Business Excellence Awards in Sydney today.
The software development company provides research software solutions to more than 400,000 customers in more than 150 countries around the world and was selected from a pool of over 150 entries and 10 Australian finalists.
Parliamentary Secretary for Innovation and Industry, Richard Marles MP congratulated QSR International on the win.
Deborah Harrigan, Dell’s general manager, Small to Medium Business division for Australia and New Zealand, said the company was awarded first prize in recognition of its ability to use technology to better serve its customers.
“QSR represents outstanding achievement in small business innovation and is a true example of how a small business can become a global leader through innovative use of technonology,” she said.
QSR International will compete for the global 2009 Small Business Excellence Award against 12 other national winners from Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Spain, United Kingdom and the United States.
