Microsoft and Yahoo are in talks of a possible search engine partnership, in order tackle their ever growing competitor Google.
The two technology giants are currently in talks to join forces, in order to boost the popularity of the two flailing search engines.
The news comes as the latest ComScore figures have shown that Microsoft and Yahoo have lost ground to Google which currently controls the market. Yahoo now has just over 20 percent of the market, while Microsoft has a mere eight percent.
Expectation that the two technology giants would enter into a partnership have been rising since Yahoo’s new CEO, Carol Bartz, took the reins in January.
