A new Australian-first website for women in home business has been launched to provide helpful advice for women wanting to start their own home business, or for those already working from home and seeking greater success.
Home Biz Chicks is designed to provide women with the support, guidance and motivation needed to start a home based business.
According to founder, Sue Papadoulis, a growing number of women are turning to home-based businesses in the downturn.
“Home Biz Chicks is helping women realise they have positive options, even if they or their partner are out of a job.
“My goal is to educate and empower women with the necessary knowledge and skills to start and grow a home-based business.”
The website provides advice on everything from resume writing, to consulting, along with strategies on how to grow a business. In addition to this, there is a paid subscriber area where members can access specialised advice from a number of experts in the fields of marketing, public relations, financial management, productivity and organisation and relationships.
