Entrepreneur cleans up in Kleenmaid crash

In the aftermath of the $100 million Kleenmaid collapse, Brisbane entrepreneur David Braatvedt of Andrew Barton Laundry Equipment has dispelled confusion within the industry, reassuring consumers that the suppliers of quality products, reliable service and trusted support remain unaffected.

Braatvedt said many households and businesses were under the misconception that the liquidation of Kleenmaid means a loss of quality reliable laundry equipment in the market.

As a provider of Speed Queen products and spare parts, Braatvedt has reassured consumers that they can still have their products repaired.

“We want to reassure consumers that their products are still as relevant and repairable today as they were before the Kleenmaid crash: we happily service all Speed Queen products and guarantee that if we don’t have a spare part in stock we will order it and have it to the customer within three days,” said Braatvedt.

Kleenmaid’s liquidation has damaged consumer trust in the industry, but Braatvedt said it signified a critical need for honest, well-established suppliers who were upfront with customers and provided quality products and reliable service.
