CommBank SmallBiz Week 2023: Driving growth and success for Australian businesses

CommBank SmallBiz Week 2023 is shaping up to be an unmissable event, with more than 100 exhibitors and thousands of visitors expected to converge at Marvel Stadium in Melbourne.

The CommBank SmallBiz Week is scheduled to take place in Melbourne from May 23 to May 25, 2023, and it’s set to gather numerous business owners, government agencies, and industry leaders.

This 3-day event is designed to provide small businesses from all industries with a unique opportunity to come together, network, and discuss the challenges that they face in today’s ever-changing business landscape.

Small businesses from various industries will have the chance to network, exchange ideas on overcoming challenges, and gain insights on how to future-proof their strategies and drive their business success at the upcoming CommBank SmallBiz Week 2023. This event offers a single venue for businesses to convene and collaborate.

“Small businesses have shown extraordinary resilience and are now entering 2023 with a renewed sense of business confidence,” said Ray Evans, CEO of ABF Events. “We are proud to once again partner with CommBank and look forward to welcoming back thousands of business owners, delegates and visitors.”

One of the highlights of CommBank SmallBiz Week 2023 is Australia’s largest small business expo. With over 100 exhibitors showcasing their products and services, attendees can expect to discover new ideas, innovations, and technologies that can help drive their businesses forward.

The event also includes multiple B2B networking functions, allowing attendees to meet and connect with other business owners, government agencies, and industry leaders.

CommBank SmallBiz Week 2023 will also host two major forums, each featuring interactive keynotes and industry panels with leading small businesses, entrepreneurs, and industry thought-leaders. These forums will provide attendees with unique insights, best practices, and strategies that they can use to future-proof their businesses and drive success.

On May 23, CommBank SmallBiz Week 2023 will kick off with a black-tie gala dinner, which will celebrate the rising champions of Australian business with CommBank SmallBiz Week’s Young Hero Awards. This awards program is designed to recognise the achievements of trailblazing entrepreneurs and business leaders who are 35 years and younger.

CommBank Group Executive Business Banking Mike Vacy-Lyle said: “At CommBank, we recognise small business owners’ vital role in our economy.

“That is why we are excited once again to be a naming sponsor for CommBank SmallBiz Week, an opportunity for these entrepreneurs to connect, learn and grow. We are proud to be a part of this event and to support the success of small businesses in every way we can.”
