ANZ launches new business Visa Debit card

ANZ today launched its new Business Visa Debit card on its business transaction accounts. ANZ is the first major Australian bank to offer a Visa Debit card for business. The new card is available on the ANZ Business Classic, Business Extra and Negotiator accounts and will replace the current ANZ Access card for eligible customers.

ANZ General Manager for Small Business, Nick Reade said: “It’s terrific to be able to take the success of Visa Debit and deliver this for business customers. Many business owners want to use their own money to make purchases, and now that is possible at no extra cost.” ANZ Business Visa Debit card customers can make purchases online, over the phone, over the counter and access money via ATMs both in Australia and overseas. Customers can also link the card to their business accounts.

The card also offers several forms of security through ANZ Falcon fraud monitoring, ANZ Fraud Money Back Guarantee, Visa’s Zero Liability policy and Verified by Visa protection. “The added security of ANZ Falcon is of particular benefit to our business customers who are increasingly using electronic banking and purchasing channels,” Mr Reade said. Launching ANZ Business Visa Debit is part of ANZ’s commitment to its small business customers.
