And I thought us Brits were overly politically correct. It seems you Aussies are a little sensitive when it comes to Gordon Ramsay. I for one am a big fan.
Just last week, a few of us on Twitter started places bets on how long it’d be before the media starting going bananas about Gordo’s excessive swearing. Hello? That’s what he does! He may be a good chef (yes, I know a few of his restaurants have closed recently!) but he’s probably known more for two other things: being a housewives’ favourite and swearing. A lot. And he knows it.
So it was no great surprise when he came over here and immediately started having a pop at local celebrities Tracy Grimshaw and Rove. And just look how much publicity he’s got! You know the saying: all publicity’s good publicity.
And no, what he said about Tracy wasn’t nice at all. And if he’d said that to me I would be upset too (but probably blushing because he even spoke to me in the first place and I think he’s hot), but it hardly warrants a national outrage on this scale, does it?
