Apple has been fined $2.25 million after the Federal Court found it had misled consumers by advertising its new iPad as being able to connect to the Australian 4G network.

After weeks of speculation Apple CEO Tim Cook unveiled the new iPad in San Francisco overnight, which features a higher resolution display, a powerful A5X chip for improved graphics performance and super-fast 4G connectivity.
