Singapore Airlines A380 flights will resume to Melbourne and Sydney after earlier grounding the aircraft for precautionary checks following the explosion of a Qantas A380 engine on a flight from Singapore yesterday.

Singapore Airlines will double the number of Airbus A380 aircraft flying between Sydney and Singapore, adding 140,000 seats a year will be available on the route.
