Telstra is set to offer Navman Wireless’ GPS fleet management solutions to business customers, after signing a strategic partnership with the navigation company.
The decision comes as a response to local demand for these solutions reaching an all-time high. Navman’s GPS technology allows businesses to track, manage and better organise their fleets and equipment through a small tracking device placed in each vehicle.
Telstra Director of M2M and Partners Mike Cihra says “this exciting new offer provides our customers with the added flexibility of receiving a turnkey vehicle tracking solution inclusive of hardware, software as a service and carriage – with a single monthly payment on the Telstra bill.”
With this technology, business owners and fleet managers can view their vehicle’s location, time spent there, idle time and more.
With the service industry now the fastest growing segment, Navman Wireless’ customer base has doubled year-on-year since established in 2007, as businesses utilise their solutions to optimise productivity.
Cihra says: “Telstra have been partnered with Navman Wireless because of their market leadership position and strong dealer channel relationships. We are looking to partner with more organisations like Navman Wireless who have innovative yet easy to use technology as well as a shared focus on growing the machine to machine market in Australia.”
Under the partnership, business customers can pay monthly on a 36 monthly contract to access the Navman Wireless technology through Telstra.
