Business owners are invited to get the low down on cashflow at two free Small Business September seminars, as business bad debt continues to rise to worrying levels.
The seminar, ‘Cashflow – the lifeblood of your business’, will be presented by two experts who hold combined experience of more than 40 years in the finance industry, Scott Flaxman and Rob Lockhart.
Recent figures show business bad debts are up 17 percent from 2004, including the years of the Global Financial Crisis. The rate of debt default is at a level similar to July 2008, but below levels experienced in 2009 in the depths of the GFC.
Businesses wanting to avoid being a debt default statistic will learn the fundamentals of cash flow management at this free two-hour seminar.
Both presenters will cover the concepts of key financial business drivers such as debt management, capital cycles, cashflow forecasts and proactive debtor management.
Small business owners are being urged to reserve their places for each of free seminars, which will be held on the following dates:
- Tuesday 6 September, 8:00-10:00am, NSW Trade and Investment, Level 47, MLC Centre, 19 Martin Place, Sydney.
- Thursday 22 September, 8:00-10:00am, The Links Shell Cove, Golf Drive, Shell Cove
