Small businesses in need of intellectual property protection training can now access a new nationally accredited training package, announced by Parliamentary Secretary for Innovation and Industry, Richard Marles today.
The IP training package is funded by IP Australia, and is aimed at giving small businesses the skills to compete in today’s knowledge-based economy.
The training offers small businesses practical knowledge about how to protect and benefit from IP, covering aspects such as managing IP to grow a business, protecting business identity and protecting new inventions.
According to Marles, awareness of IP and its effective management will help businesses grow.
