Zoho analytics gets a major AI boost

Zoho Corporation has unveiled a major upgrade to its Zoho Analytics platform, introducing powerful new AI and ML capabilities that deliver deeper insights and predictive analysis.

Zoho Corporation has announced significant updates to its self-service BI and analytics platform, Zoho Analytics. The latest version features over 100 enhancements, including powerful new AI and machine learning (ML) capabilities designed to offer diagnostic insights, predictive analysis, and automated reporting. The platform now boasts a custom ML model-building studio, OpenAI integration, and third-party BI platform extensions, positioning Zoho Analytics as a robust competitor in the business intelligence market.

Key Enhancements in Zoho Analytics

The latest version has introduced improvements across four main areas:

1. Data Management Hub:

  • Expanded Stream Analytics and over 25 new data connectors.
  • Tools for building and managing complex ETL data pipelines.
  • A new Unified Metrics Layer for real-time insights and headless BI mode for seamless data app integration.

2. AI-Infused Business Intelligence:

  • Zia Insights, Zoho’s AI-powered engine, now provides diagnostic analytics.
  • Ask Zia, Zoho’s AI copilot, offers natural language querying in Spanish and French and can be used in IM platforms like Microsoft Teams.
  • AI-driven Auto Analysis for automated report and dashboard generation.

3. Data Science and Machine Learning Studio:

  • A new DSML Studio with AutoML for building custom ML models.
  • A Python Code Studio for creating and importing ML models.

4. Platform Extensibility:

  • BI fabric consolidates insights from platforms like Power BI and Tableau.
  • Custom workflows and connectors can now be created using the no-code data connector builder.

The latest Zoho Analytics release aims to simplify data management and analysis for a wide range of industries and users, offering cutting-edge AI tools and seamless integrations to accelerate business decision-making. The platform is now available, with further details on pricing accessible through Zoho’s website.

Privacy and Security Commitment

Zoho continues its commitment to user privacy with no reliance on ad revenue and full ownership of its data centers, ensuring robust security and privacy controls for its users. The platform is trusted by over 100 million users globally.

“I use Zoho Analytics for secure online reporting to multiple customers – nurses and midwives – in multiple countries,” said Emma Elcombe, Senior Research Officer, Western Sydney University. “Through it, I upload live data into one place, which our customers can filter to get unique, specific and – critically – real-time insights into the impact of visits on families and family satisfaction. With that data, we’re able to improve the quality of services for families. Without Zoho and its live, dynamic and accessible reports, we’d still be relying on static PDF reports, which are limited in what they show and it’s a major burden to collect, share and update the data. What’s more, Zoho Analytics is secure from a data perspective, which is absolutely paramount in the healthcare sector. For healthcare providers, time and insight is critical, and with the new features in Zoho Analytics, we’ll be able to enjoy even more of both.”

“Zoho Analytics launched in 2009 as Zoho Reports, long before technology had caught up to Zoho’s vision for business intelligence,” said Raju Vegesna, Chief Evangelist for Zoho. “Since then, Zoho has made considerable investments around automation, no-code/low-code development, third-party integration, machine learning, and Zia, Zoho’s in-house AI engine. The latest version of Zoho Analytics is one of the first solutions from the company that takes advantage of every one of these decades-long investments. The result is a democratised platform that is powerful, intelligent, flexible, and simple to use.”
