According to TopBuy, a parcel on the site goes out every half minute throughout an eight hour working day, with over 700 parcels shipped from TopBuy every day.
They also found that the busiest time of day for sales is between 12pm and 3pm, whilst the busiest day of the week for sales is Wednesday; indicating that lunchtime is the most convenient time for shoppers.
The research also revealed that the majority of their shoppers come from Sydney City, with the most popular postcode recorded as NSW 2000.
Online shopping is proving its worth in a tough climate, as more and more consumers jump online for a quick bargain.
