This esteemed program, now in its 26th year, recognizes the accomplishments and significant contributions of the nation’s 2.5 million small business owners across economic, social, and cultural spheres. This year’s awards have seen unprecedented participation, with a record number of entries surpassing previous years. Open to all small businesses and judged by a panel with firsthand experience in small business, the Awards spotlight excellence in retail, services, and manufacturing across over 100 categories. According to a recent independent national survey commissioned by Precedent Productions, organizers of the Awards, 63% of small business proprietors work more than five days a week. Additionally, 57% engage in a ‘side hustle,’ primarily due to financial reasons.
