‘Tap to Pay on iPhone’ is coming soon to Stripe users in Australia

Stripe, the platform helping businesses with money stuff, is making big moves in Australia. They’re introducing cool new ways for Aussie businesses to get paid and manage their finances.

One super cool thing is ‘Tap to Pay on iPhone,’ where businesses can take payments with just a tap on their iPhones. This is the first time this tech is available outside the US for Stripe users.

Stripe’s boss for Australia and New Zealand, Karl Durrance, said, ‘We’re excited to help even more Aussie businesses succeed by giving them tools to make more money and run things smoother.’

Here’s the scoop on the awesome stuff Stripe is bringing:

  1. Easy Peasy Payments: Aussie businesses can soon use their iPhones to accept quick and easy payments. No extra gadgets needed!
  2. Fancy Reader: There’s a new gadget called the Stripe Reader S700. It’s like a fancy machine that lets businesses take payments and gather customer info, like names and emails. It’s handy and has a fancy screen and long battery life.
  3. Speedy Checkout: Stripe is making online shopping faster with ‘Link.’ It’s like a magic button that fills in payment details, making it a breeze to buy stuff online.
  4. Smart Data: Stripe is helping businesses get smart with their money. They’re bringing something called ‘Stripe Data Pipeline’ to Australia. It helps businesses see their money info better.
  5. Tax Time Made Easy: Stripe is also helping businesses with taxes. They’re introducing ‘Stripe Tax for platforms.’ This helps businesses handle taxes like a champ.

“Our customers are at the heart of everything we do and Stripe shares our commitment to customer-centricity. We know Stripe has got us covered on growing recurring revenue and streamlining finance with deposits and instalments, so we can focus on bringing the world’s best travel experiences to our customers,” said Shay Hamama, Chief Product & Technology Officer, Lux Group
