Great Employers’ winners announced in 2021 Grand Stevie Awards

The international Stevie Awards for Great Employers 2021 winners were announced recently. The awards recognise the world’s best employers, as well as the human resources specialists, teams, accomplishments, and HR-related products and suppliers who contribute to the creation and advancement of great workplaces.

Over 950 submissions from businesses of all kinds in 29 countries were submitted this year for consideration in a number of HR-related categories. The COVID-19 Response categories received a lot of attention. In addition, this year’s Stevie Award winners were picked by a panel of more than 70 professionals from all across the world.

Among the organizations with the most Stevie-winning nominations are Bank of America, IBM Corporation, ENERJİSA, Tata Consultancy Services, AKÇANSA, Sabancı Holding A.Ş., İGA (İstanbul Grand Airport), and MGM China.

“In the sixth edition of the Stevie Awards for Great Employers, the judges were impressed by all of the nominees, who – during the crises we’ve confronted this year and last – continue to dedicate each day to making the lives of their employees and teams better through training, software, work-from-home plans, and more,” said Maggie Gallagher, president of the Stevie Awards. 

“We look forward to celebrating the Stevie winners’ achievements during our November 17 virtual awards ceremony.” 

Who are the winners?

California-based Rakuten Americas was named the winner of a Gold Stevie Award in the employer of the year in the Advertising, Marketing, & Public Relations category in the sixth annual Stevie Awards for Great Employers.

Turkish bank, Halkbank was named the winner of a Gold Stevie Award in the employer of the year, banking category. Alorica from Irvine was awarded the winner in the Business & Professional Services category.

New American Funding was named the recipient of a Gold Stevie Award in the Employer of the Year in the financial services category at the sixth annual Stevie Awards for Great Employers, while Canadian company, Fullscript was named Employer of the Year in Health Products & Services.                                                 

Bank of America, Charlotte was named the winner of a Gold Stevie Award in the Most Innovative Work-From-Home Plan category in the sixth annual Stevie Awards for Great Employers. 

These special categories were created to honor the contributions of HR individuals, teams, and entire organizations that have worked valiantly over the year to keep employees safe, healthy, employed, paid, and informed. 

Under the COVID-19 response categories, Miami, FL-based Publicis Sapient was selected as the most valuable employer.

Among the eight programs that award Stevie Awards are: The Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards, the German Stevie Awards, the Middle East & North Africa Stevie Awards, The American Business Awards, The International Business Awards, the Stevie Awards for Great Employers, the Stevie Awards for Women in Business, and the Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service. 

Each year, over 12,000 entries from over 70 countries are submitted to the Stevie Awards competitions. The Stevie Awards for Great Employers recognize excellence in the workplace in a variety of fields. The following are some of the categories:
