Deal valued at CAD $100M+ will see Employment Hero enter the Canadian market, offering thousands of SMEs a unified platform for managing employment, customized for Canada’s unique business needs.
Employment Hero announced the acquisition of Humi, Canada’s trusted employment platform, in a deal estimated to exceed CAD $100M.
This marks one of the largest recent acquisitions in the Canadian tech sector.
The acquisition will allow Employment Hero to expand into the Canadian market, a key focus as the company grows its global footprint, which currently serves over 2 million employees and 300,000 SMEs worldwide.
By combining Employment Hero’s global expertise and its Employment Operating System (eOS) with Humi’s in-depth understanding of the Canadian market, the partnership will provide a tailored, local solution for businesses.
Thousands of Humi’s SME clients will soon benefit from an all-in-one platform for payroll, HR, and benefits, designed specifically for Canadian businesses. The companies aim to double this customer base in the near future as part of their strategy to become the leader in employment management solutions in Canada.
