One of Australia’s oldest cashback websites has abruptly ceased operations, leaving two million members racing against multiple deadlines to withdraw their remaining rewards.
Recent transactions will continue to track and be processed over the next three days, with all pending transactions as of Thursday, 11 September 2025 set to be approved for withdrawal.
Members with untracked or queried transactions have until 11:59am AEDT on Friday, 10 October 2025 to submit their queries. Any queries submitted after this date will not be assessed.
The most critical deadline comes on 24 October 2025 at 11:59am AEDT, when members must withdraw their funds or face automatic transfers to linked bank or PayPal accounts.
Withdrawal process changes
For members who have both bank and PayPal details linked, automatic transfers will be made to their bank accounts. PayPal withdrawals will cease entirely on 24 October 2025.
After this date, all withdrawals will only be processed manually through the member services team via the Help Desk Portal or support@cashrewards.com.
Final deadline approaches
All withdrawal claims must be received by Friday, 12 December 2025. Members who haven’t submitted withdrawal requests by 11:59am AEDT on this date will be contacted by Cashrewards about accessing their cashback.
Gift cards affected
Members with gift cards stored in their wallets face particular urgency. These will only remain accessible through the wallet until 11:59am AEDT on Friday, 24 October 2025, though they’ll still be accessible via email afterward.
Cashrewards strongly urges all members to download any gift cards stored in their wallets before the October deadline.
Terms updated
The company has updated its Terms of Use, Gift Card Terms and Refer a Friend Program Promotion Terms to reflect these changes. Updated terms and a summary of key changes are available through the official website.
Members requiring assistance are advised to contact Member Services through the Help Desk Portal or via support@cashrewards.com before the stated deadlines.
