Canva and Constant Contact have expanded their integration so small businesses can design and publish across email and social without switching tools.
Canva and Constant Contact have been connected before. Constant Contact customers could already sync their asset library to Canva for editing. What has changed with today’s announcement is the direction of that connection.
Previously, work flowed one way: assets from Constant Contact into Canva for editing. Now it flows the other way too. Once a design is finished in Canva, a small business owner can push it directly into a Constant Contact campaign across email and social channels without leaving the platform.
The practical difference is the elimination of the download and reupload cycle that previously sat between finishing a design and sending it. Roger Coles, a Canva Verified Expert and Corporate Trainer, described the old process plainly. “Previously, spotting one tiny typo meant 20 minutes disappeared in a cycle of downloading and re-uploading,” he said. “This integration changes that, giving those 20 minutes back to the business owner.”
The integration supports Constant Contact’s full suite of publishing channels: email, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn. Scheduling, automation and reporting are all handled within Constant Contact once the design is pushed from Canva.
Brand assets stored in Constant Contact remain synced to Canva, so existing materials are accessible without manual searching or re-importing. The integration does not replace the existing asset sync functionality. It adds a new publishing pathway on top of it.
Lee Ott, Chief Product and Growth Officer at Constant Contact, described the update as a practical step for time-poor operators. “When you can go from a great design to a campaign that gets you seen by your customers across email and every major social channel in one click, that’s not just a better experience,” he said.
The Constant Contact app is available now in the Canva Apps Marketplace at no additional cost to existing Constant Contact customers. Standard Constant Contact plan pricing applies. New users can start a free trial directly from within the Canva Apps Marketplace without a credit card. The integration is available in Australia, the US, UK and Canada.
