Tiger Airways has been revealed as the least favourite airline of Australian consumers, according to a new survey.
The Domestic Airline Satisfaction Survey conducted by Choice magazine found that Tiger had a 55 percent satisfaction rate, the lowest of the Australian airlines.
Jetstar was rated second-lowest with a 60 percent satisfaction rate, while Virgin Blue got a 68 percent satisfaction rate.
However, there was some happy news for Tiger, with 75 percent of respondents citing the airline as the best value for money.
The survey comes as the New South Wales Office of Fair Trading revealed travel-related complaints increased in 2008/09, hitting 1546, compared with 1200 complaints in 2007/08.
