In order to help small businesses better manage their money, ANZ has developed an online budget tool called MoneyManager.
According to SME Banking Council research, 47 percent of small business owners use personal financing to fund their business. ANZ general manager, small business banking, Nick Reade said small business operators were often time poor with little opportunity to step back and analyse all their personal and businesses expenses. The MoneyManager tool allows small businesses to view and analyse their accounts from different financial instutitions on the one website.
ANZ MoneyManager brings together the user’s financial information from nominated websites including banks, credit unions, mortgage lenders, billers and trading platforms and categorised purchases according to business and personal expenses.
According to Reade, the MoneyManager gives “a snapshot of all expenses on the one website,” giving small businesses an “overall picture of their cash flow.”
