500+ marketing leaders to gather at B2B Forum in Sydney

More than 500 chief marketing officers and marketing professionals are expected to gather in Sydney for the 10th Annual B2B Marketing Leaders Forum APAC 2025, set for May 21–22 at Doltone House, Jones Bay Wharf.

As Asia Pacific’s largest conference dedicated to business-to-business marketing, the event celebrates a decade of empowering marketers with two days of workshops, panels, and networking, concluding with an awards dinner that coincides with Australian Made Week.

Founded in 2015 by Emma Roborgh, the forum has grown from a niche meet-up to a key fixture on the marketing calendar, drawing attendees from industries like technology, finance, and manufacturing. Organizers anticipate another sold-out year, with sponsorships already fully booked and capacity capped at 600. The event will focus on how marketers can drive business growth, fast-track pipelines, harness AI, and secure greater influence in boardrooms.

“This event empowers marketers to drive revenue and stay ahead in a fast-changing landscape,” said Roborgh. “Our community of leaders shares practical strategies to turn marketing into a growth engine.”

What SMEs will take away

With small and medium enterprises making up 99.8 percent of Australia’s 2.5 million businesses and employing 70 percent of the workforce, the event’s tailored sessions for SMEs are expected to provide actionable strategies that align with their realities. Topics include aligning marketing and sales for faster conversions, building brand credibility while delivering on short-term growth, and managing zero-based budgets.

Sessions will explore practical techniques for pipeline acceleration, with discussions around improving conversion rates and refining metrics like customer acquisition cost, lifetime value, and pipeline velocity. SMEs will learn to craft brand strategies that resonate in boardrooms, invest wisely in performance marketing, and measure ROI more effectively.

The agenda includes deep dives into AI and data use, from content creation and account-based marketing to safeguarding CRM data and personalizing buyer experiences. With many SMEs looking to enter Asian markets, sessions on localization, budget management, and international growth will be a draw.

Inside the lineup and program highlights

More than 70 speakers are confirmed, including Emma Chalwin from Workday, Robert Chatwani of DocuSign, and Ingela Nordenhav, former CMO of Volvo Trucks, whose “Epic Split” campaign redefined viral B2B marketing. Also speaking are Jon Stona of Airwallex, Justin Smith of Ansarada, and Jodie Sangster, founder of the Australian Centre for AI in Marketing.

Key sessions will cover leadership, pipeline growth, ROI attribution, and the future of account-based marketing. Industry breakouts will bring marketers from IT, finance, professional services, and construction into conversations relevant to their sectors. A special session on campaign misfires promises honest insights into what worked, what didn’t, and why.

Held during Australian Made Week, the forum reinforces the importance of marketing in strengthening local businesses. With SMEs contributing more than $500 billion annually to the economy, the event serves as both a celebration and a strategic launchpad for those looking to grow smarter in competitive markets.
