LinkedIn has announced that it is rolling out redesigned Company Pages in order to streamline the platform for its members.

The rollout will commence this week, with Philips, Citi, HP and Dell getting early access to the new Company Pages.

The new design will offer streamlined navigation to help members find, follow and engage with companies. Company updates will be front and centre, enabling members to quickly share and comment on updates.

A revision to the update stream means that content will also be more personalised: rather than appearing in reverse chronological order, updates will be sorted according to their relevance. This revision will allow companies to engage with the right members.

The enhanced format will also enable companies to visually establish their brand identity. Moving away from text-heavy pages, the enhanced platform will enable companies to add an image that represents their brand and company.

The new Company Pages will also be made available on the LinkedIn app for iPhone, Android and iPad, making it easier for members to connect with companies on the go.
