The hotly-anticipated LG 3.0 PRADA smartphone will hit Australian stores in April, and is the third phone to be released as a result of a collaboration between LG Electronics and the PRADA fashion house.
The smartphone, unveiled at a showcase event in London in December last year, is attracting attention for being the only mobile on the market currently with premium branding.
According to LG senior marketing manager Brad Reed, the smartphone offers more features than previous phones borne of the collaboration and is a “statement” device.
“The latest offering continues in the tradition of combining PRADA’s trademark design aesthetics and simplicity with LG’s leading technology, including one of the brightest displays on the market and a PRADA themed UI for a truly unique mobile experience,” said Reed.
The phone runs on the Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS and features high-speed performance as well as dual band Wi-Fi for high-speed internet surfing, ideal for businesses on-the-go. It also features LG’s signature floating mass technology, which allows for a thin and sleekly designed mobile.
With large 8GB memory and 800-nit display brightness, business owners will find the phone useful for diary organisation and planning on-the-go.
The device will be launched exclusively on the Vodafone network and can be purchased for $799 outright. Vodafone will confirm plans closer to the launch date.
