Kaspersky Endpoint Security 8 Launched For Mac, Smartphones And Linux

Looking for the latest endpoint security products for your Smartphone, Mac or Linux? Kaspersky Lab have launched their 2011 business security product range.

Country Manager of Kaspersky Lab ANZ, Andrew Mamonitis, said, “The company has invested considerable time and resources in developing our new corporate products that will add further layers of security and provide peace of minds to businesses seeking a reliable and trusted IT security offering.”

Several new additions to the range include: Kaspersky Endpoint Security 8 for Mac, Kaspersky Endpoint Security 8 for Linux, and Kaspersky Endpoint Security 8 for Smartphones.

This range of solutions provides world-class protection for a broad spectrum of corporate IT infrastructure: from gateways to smartphones. The products and solutions are easily integrated into corporate IT environments, protecting servers, gateways, network storage, workstations, terminals and mobile devices.

In addition, Kaspersky Labs is offering hosted security services to customers in Australia and New Zealand. Cloud-based mail and web security delivered as a service will help to deliver a clean feed of internet and mail traffic to business environments. The hosted security service will use two Australian datacenter locations and customers will receive 24 hours local support.

“Hosted security services continue to gain popularity among businesses both large and small in Australia, New Zealand, and Southeast Asia,” said program vice president of security products at IDC, Chris Christiansen. “IDC expects dramatic growth in this region in coming years. The entrance of a reputable IT security vendor like Kaspersky into this market with local datacenters will be a welcome move for resellers and service providers in the region.”
