Jump On It has been named a “Rising Star” in Deloitte’s Technology Fast 50 list, the only group buying site to be recognised in the category.
Deloitte’s Rising Star Award recognises technology companies with high year on year growth, but don’t qualify for the Fast 50 list, having been in operation for less than three years.
The Rising Star Award is given to eight technology companies on track to be named in the Fast 50.
According to Jump On It co-founder and CEO Colin Fabig, rapid growth since launch in 2010 has led to the business receiving the award.
“Jump On It launched in May 2010 and has gone from strength to strength, one of two group buying sites managed by LivingSocial Australia, Jump On It has achieved market share in excess of 30 per cent in the group buying space with Livingsocial.com.”
Fabig also believes constant innovation as well as partnership deals with eBay and Fairfax, have led to the business’ success.
“Australia has the most competitive group buying environment in the world and our team has come from behind to beat larger and better-funded media companies… we look forward to continued growth over the coming year.”
Now in its 11th year, the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 and Rising Star awards rank Australia’s fastest-growing public or private technology companies and are part of a global Fast 500 series.
The winning company in the Rising Star Awards was brandsExclusive.com.au, with Flippa.com coming in second place, and Jump On It third.
