AIMIA V21 conference and speakers announced

Following on from the success of the first V21 Conference in 2009, this year’s V21 will focus on next generation business models and how digital media is changing business. The event explores how the interactivity that digital technology enables and the opportunities it opens up are putting traditional business models and practices to the test.

The impact this has for businesses across the board and for digital media specialists is brought to life at the V21 Conference through the experiences of business innovators who share their stories from the trenches, offer practical examples, and provide inspiration for the road ahead.

“Technology-enabled interactivity is fuelling consumer’s expectations that they will get more for the same (or less) year on year. The pressure is really intensifying for businesses to offer increasingly innovative products and services while continuing to make profits and grow their bottom line,” said Simon Goodrich, President of Australian Interactive Media Industry Association’s Victorian Chapter

“We’re right at a tipping point. In any industry the barriers to entry are breaking down, and every year business people and creators of new digital products are having to make themselves heard above the noise. V21 is a forum to have discussion that starts to move people outside their comfort zones.”

V21 is a one-day conference presented by the Australian Interactive Media Industry Association (AIMIA) Victorian Chapter. V21 is designed to bring together the digital media industry and its clients to help develop and better understand opportunities that digital media can bring to business.

V21 will feature presentations from: the ABC, the AFL, Sitepoint/99 Designs, Red Bubble, Catalogue Central/Style Hunter, Sportsgirl, Citrus, Perfumania, Onelove Music Group, Sound Alliance and FremantleMedia Enterprises.

V21 Conference: Melbourne – Thursday 15 April 2010, Early Bird Tickets End – Wednesday 25 March 2010.
