Australia’s under 40s entrepreneurs will gather this March for the Young Entrepreneurs’ Unconvention in Sydney, Melbourne and, for the first time, in Brisbane.
The 2013 Young Entrepreneurs’ Unconvention hosted by The Entourage aims to connect Australia’s up and coming entrepreneurs with Australia’s best entrepreneurs, and equip them with the skills required for success.
Jack Delosa, director of The Entourage said they were founded in 2010 in response to the unsatisfactory traditional education systems available to entrepreneurs.
“Our market research shows that business owners with a university degree, rated their university a three out of ten in terms of its effectiveness in preparing them for the business world. Although 75 percent of people thought entrepreneurship can be taught, 90 percent indicated that university is not adequately prepared to educate entrepreneurs,” Delosa said.
Attendees will be experiencing a full day jam-packed with helpful information, they will also be able to attend Q and As with Australia’s top young entrepreneurs, meet investors and network with the right people.
Key speakers for the event include Petar Lackovic, entrepreneur and business coach who has generated a total of half a billion in sales for his clients; Dorry Kordahi, founder of DKM Blue and member of the BRW young rich list; Jodie Fox, co-founder of Shoes of Prey and Katherine Sampson, founder of Healthy Habits.
Tickets are $47 each and the event will be held from 9am to 5.30pm in Brisbane on 15 March, Melbourne on 16 March and Sydney on 23 March.
