The nominations for this year’s Lord Mayor’s Business Awards have been announced.
“Now in its ninth year, the Lord Mayor’s Business Awards celebrates those businesses and individuals who make an integral contribution to Brisbane’s $135 billion economy,” Lord Mayor Graham Quirk said.
“The awards also demonstrate why an increasing number of decision-makers worldwide are choosing Brisbane for business, investment, study and conventions.”
Companies are urged to download and complete forms to have a hand in deciding on the finalists, with individuals encouraged to nominate their own business.
This year’s nominations represent a wide variety of business, ranging from Vuly Trampolines for three nominations, including Business Innovation, to Hear and Say Centres for Deaf Children’s Associate Professor Dimity Dornan AO for Business Person of the Year.
Now in its ninth year, the Lord Mayor’s Business Awards have introduced a brand new category. The Doing Business in Asia Award has been created to recognise successful business relationships between Brisbane and Asia, focusing on areas such as education, manufacturing and legal services.
