Chief executive Michael Luscombe says the business is going along quite nicely and he is looking forward to the important end-of-year trading period when shoppers will splure on Christmas treats.
He told journalists after the company’s annual general meeting rising interest rates could hurt consumer confidence but a December interest rate rise won’t impact the business a great deal because it sells the basic commodities of life.
