The latest Victorian Employers Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VECCI) survey has found that Victorian businesses are slowly gaining confidence about the future.
The survey found that the outlook for the Victorian economy improved over the June quarter among businesses, with 23 percent of respondents expecting stronger state economic conditions over the next year, up from 5 percent in the previous quarter.
VECCI chief economist Steven Wojtkiw said there are some signs of an upturn over the coming three months.
