Victorians are gearing up for the second annual Support Small Business Day to be held on Saturday 4 October.
The Victorian Government initiative celebrates the big difference that small businesses make to local communities, and encourages Victorians to think about spending in-store at local small businesses.
The event is being sponsored by Bendigo Bank, and shoppers who register online to participate in the free event will have the change to win a prepaid gift card. Shoppers can search the Support Small Business Day website for participating businesses.
Small Businesses can register to receive a support pack full of promotional materials to display in-store, and tips on how to create Support Small Business Day special offers for their store. Registered businesses will also receive a special activation card that will allow them to accept Bendigo Bank-sponsored gift cards on the day.
