Smith’s chip flavours hit the shelves

Smith’s chip flavours go on sale
The four chip flavours from Smith’s ‘Do Us A Flavour’ competition hit the shelves today.
The flavours: Caesar Salad, Late Night Kebab, Buttered Popcorn and BBQ Coat of Arms will be available nationwise from today where the public will ‘test by tastebuds’ and decide on their favourite flavour via a combination of sales and votes.
From more than 314,000 suggestions, the Smith’s judging panel – including acclaimed chef Matt Moran – selected four finalist flavours, which have  now been produced and will hit shelves across the country from Monday 12 October, until Sunday 6 December 2009, or while stocks last.
The faces behind the four finalist flavours are:
•          BBQ Coat of Arms – from part time DJ and audio engineer Vinnie Kaye, from Melbourne
•          Late Night Kebab – from soccer addict and banker Lucas Barsby, from Adelaide
•          Caesar Salad – from Sydney’s Northern Beaches ‘yummy mummy’ Aline Pascuzzo
•          Buttered Popcorn – from Perth family man Steve Richardson
