Samsung launches world’s ‘most compact laser printer’

Samsung Electronics Australia is lauching the ML-1660, a compact laser printer incoroporating intuitive ‘one-touch’ design.

Samsung ML1660The ML-1660 features ‘one-touch’ buttons that let users print eactly what they see on their PC screen. Its compatibility with Samsung’s AnyWeb Print software means that users can also select, drag and drop specific content from web pages into a new blank page on their PC screen, which they can then save or print.

The printer itself is similarly designed for easy use, with the new Soft Power button located on the front panel of the device, making it simpler to turn on and off.  A cover on the output tray helps to keep the noise level down.

The combination of intuitive and compact design makes the ML-1660 simpler than previous Samsung printers and more easy to use, says Samsung Electronics Australia’s National Product and Marketing Manager-IT, Emmanuele Silanesu.

“Samsung understands that consumers don’t want to have to worry about working out how to use their new devices”

“With this new printer, we have incorporated a wide range of easy-to-use features in a stylish and ultra compact device to make printing simple and convenient” says Silanesu.

The black toner cartridges for this printer deliver a 1,500 page yield, with print speeds of up to 16 pages-per-minute and a first page out time of 8.5 seconds.
